Leading the way for Women Entrepreneurs and Women in Science
We selected leaders from major organizations in France and Canada supporting women's entrepreneurship and women in STEM to present their roles and results. Our report aims at featuring their programs alongside with recommendations to achieve gender balance in tech.

Our vision
Why ABEONA Network
The name ABEONA, which comes from Latin and means "departure" in reference to the Roman goddess of travels, perfectly embodies the essence of our project to create a network between France and Canada to support women in tech and entrepreneurship.
As in any journey, our goal is to create connections and share knowledge between the two countries, to promote the exchange of best practices, and to enable women to connect and support each other in their paths.
Thus, ABEONA Network is a symbol of our willingness to travel together towards a better future for women in tech and entrepreneurship, with a focus on sharing expertise and experiences for a strong and united community.

What we are aiming for
ABEONA Network presents organizations in France and Canada supporting female founders and women in tech in order to :
Share good practicies
We facilitate knowledge-sharing between organizations to empower women in their tech carrier and guide female founders to grow their innovative startups locally and globally.
Launch concrete actions
We take proactive steps to support women in STEM and female founders in tech by initiating and implementing targeted programs and projects and by experimanting locally and nationaly.
Advocate for better representation
We offer workshops to advocate for equal representation and opportunities for women in tech industries, and inspire policies and organizations to accelerate the transformation of the tech ecosystem towards a more gender-diverse model.
Publish tools
We publish resources and tools to better support women in tech and entrepreneurship, providing valuable information and insights to help organization succeed in their endeavors.
Inspire organizations
We foster a sense of community and collaboration among organization supporting women in tech and entrepreneurship, inspiring and supporting each other to achieve success in their respective fields. We also want to inspire all players to implement organizational D&I strategies.
Influence policies
We engage with policymakers and industry leaders to effect positive change and promote gender diversity in the tech industry, working to create a more inclusive and equitable environment for women in tech and entrepreneurship.

Read the report
Our study adopted a qualitative approach to better understand the methods used by French and Canadian organizations to support women in tech and entrepreneurship.
We conducted semi-structured interviews with French (8) and Canadian (8) organizations specializing in innovation and supporting women in tech and entrepreneurship. These interviews provided us with rich and varied data on the practices implemented by these organizations to support women.
Finally, we drew recommendations from our results to help organizations better support women in tech and entrepreneurship.
